LS2 Boosts Global Production with New High-Tech Factory Acquisition

At LS2, our mission has always been to deliver high-quality, high-performance protection to riders across the globe. To keep up with the incredible demand we’ve seen—particularly across the UK and Europe—we are excited to announce a major expansion of our manufacturing footprint.

LS2 has officially acquired a new, state-of-the-art production facility located just outside Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This 30,000 m² site is already fully operational and represents a significant milestone in our global growth strategy.

Boosting Capacity for UK Riders

This acquisition isn’t just about floor space; it’s about ensuring that when you head to your local UK dealer for the latest LS2 lid, it’s there waiting for you.

  • Increased Volume: The new facility allows us to produce up to 80,000 helmets per month.
  • Global Demand: This expansion ensures we can continue to support our growing network of distributors and riders without compromising on lead times.

Cutting-Edge Manufacturing

With an investment of approximately €8 million, we haven’t just bought a building—we’ve invested in the future of helmet technology. The factory features:

  • Advanced Shell Production: State-of-the-art machinery for ultra-precise shell construction.
  • Refined Graphics: New systems for the application of our increasingly complex and bold graphic designs.
  • Optimised Logistics: Streamlined workflows to get products from the factory floor to the UK shores faster than ever before.

Strengthening Our Position

As one of the world’s leading helmet manufacturers, this move reinforces our commitment to independence. By owning and operating our own facilities, we maintain total control over quality, safety standards, and innovation.

Whether you’re a daily commuter or a track-day enthusiast, this expansion means LS2 is better equipped than ever to provide the protection you need, exactly when you need it.

“This investment is directly aligned with the needs of our customers and distributors, who have seen sustained growth in demand for LS2 products. We are moving forward to remain competitive in an increasingly demanding market.”
